Training around the 2013 Christmas Holiday.

I've had several good sessions over the past two weeks, despite a lack of access to my preferred equipment.

24 December. Superset of 26# KB press + a 35# resistance band, and snatch grip deadlifts with 275 (I think?)

26 December: Pushups +100# band (4/4), Pushups +35# Band (4/4), Chins (8/8), Pushups (4/4), Ring Rows (8/8).

28 December: Neck Isometrics (Done in 20-30 second holds). Grip Isometrics (1:00 holds), Anterior compartment calf isometrics.

30 December: Trap Bar deadlifts, up to 2 sets of 5 at 315. Unilateral Wall Sits, done in two 30 second holds per side, near max effort.

2 January, 2014: Pistols x 3/leg (5/5 cadence), Pushups +100# band (4/4), Ring Rows (8/8), Pistols x 3/leg (5/5 cadence), Pushups +35# Band (4/4), Chins (8/8), Pushups (4/4), Pistols x 3/leg (5/5 cadence).

Pretty good sense of well-being and recovery. I've been getting fairly decent sleep, and despite a tremendous amount of overeating, my weight has barely fluctuated more than 1 pound upon waking. I still have aspirations of competing in BJJ at a 172# weight class, which would require some leaning out and cutting, but for the time being I'm very comfortable at 180#, and feel that I can get away with a lot of dietary indulgence while easily maintaining this.
